Our Town Alley

In 1959 Care City Bowlero closed its door and by doing so paved the path to the birth of the family fun center and bowling alley in East Norriton, called Our Town Alley. Our Town Alley opened it’s 28 lanes bowling alley in 1959 and was named after John Facenda, the then-premier newscaster in DE Valley, and Jack Whitaker, the premier sports and weatherman for the same station. Our Town Alley family center in East Norriton had gone through many changes in its 56 years. In 1960, there were 22 lanes added to the bowling alley, making up the 50 total lanes that still exist today. There were no major changes to Our Town Alley until 1985 when Steppy’s Sports Bar & Grille was added to the center. The next major change happened in 1989 when the automatic scoring and anvilane along with seating was added to the East Norriton facility. Our Town Alley wants to give everybody that comes in the experience of being inside of a video game! They have high-intensity skirmishes with hurdles and obstacles with multiple levels. With their variety of eight different game modes to choose from you’ll never get bored!
