Pennypack Park Amenities: With nearly 18 acres of property, Pennypack Park provides ample open space for active and passive recreation for both visitors and wildlife. Whether you’re looking to play soccer, toss a baseball or even bird watch, Pennypack Park offers something for everyone. Pennypack Park is also home to the Pennypack Community Center which is equipped with a large gymnasium and multiple classrooms/meeting spaces. Surrounding the Pennypack Community Center are Pennypack Park’s Traffic Garden and Urban Garden. The James Petrik Memorial Traffic Garden was constructed thanks to funding from Montgomery County and is the perfect place for children of all ages to learn about traffic safety in a safe, fun environment. The Pennypack Urban Garden was constructed in 2023 with grant funding from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. This garden is open to the public to tend, grow food, and learn about sustainability.
