The Delaware Museum of Nature and Science

The Delaware Museum of Nature and Science, formerly the Delaware Museum of Natural History, was founded in 1957 and open to the public since 1972. The museum completed a major metamorphosis to its galleries and public spaces and reopened in May 2022. Encouraging our visitors to explore and discover is at the core of what we do, whether it’s through exhibits, events, programs, or connecting with partnering organizations and scientists. In our galleries, discover how nature connects us all through exploring dynamic and diverse ecosystems. Educational programs include summer camp, school tours, community outreach visits, scout activities, and other initiatives.
