Celebrate Earth Day at the Schuylkill Center on Saturday, April 20th from 10am to 2pm during our 13th annual Naturepalooza! The day will be packed with food, fun and festivities from our staff and some of our favorite Philly friends. FREE – registration suggested but not required.
Naturepalooza features guided hikes by our environmental educators, a tree planting, music, crafts, face painting, a pop-up plant sale, and other activities from our staff and community organizations (like Philadelphia Mycology Club and Black Girls with Green Thumbs). Try out snacks from Have a Ball and 1984 Cakes; jam to music by Kate Nyx, and enjoy a live reading by local author Doug Wechsler.
This year, Naturepalooza is throwing a baby shower for the many animal babies our Wildlife Clinic is caring for this spring. Visitors who bring a baby shower gift of paper towels, cotton balls, or cash will get sweet treat generously donated by 1984 Cakes.*
