Enjoy a fun day out in the Harriton Farmyard with activities for children of all ages starting at 1:00 pm. We’ll have Celeste Sherry, Spinner of Wool, here to demonstrate how sheep fleece is spun into wool. Take a nature themed scavenger hunt and make a sheep-themed craft to take home.
Shearing by Hoyt Emmons will begin at 2:00 p.m. This year he will have 3 sheep to shear with Suzie and Siobhan receiving their first haircut.
The program and parking free but donations to help offset the cost of programming and maintaining our farm animals are encouraged.
Feel free to bring a picnic lunch. We will have hot chocolate and treats to feed the animals for sale.
