ONGOING EVENTS

The Pennsylvania Renaissance Fair
Mount Hope Estate, Manheim, PA
Bring the family to experience the excitement and adventure of jousting knights and royal delights with colorfully costumed villagers and merrymakers ready to make your visit an unforgettable experience. Enjoy delicious food and musical, stunt and theatrical performances, magic acts and more! (Some shows are better for adults).

Scarecrows In the Village
Peddler’s Village, 2400 Street Road, New Hope PA 
This beloved autumn tradition continues starting September 11th and runs for 8 weeks! One hundred hand-crafted scarecrows dot the brick pathways of scenic Peddler’s Village. Vote on your favorite scarecrows and enjoy live entertainment, unique shops and tasty offerings from local restaurants. 

OCTOBER EVENTS 

October 1st through 31st
Spooky Scarecrow Walk
Morris Arboretum, 100 E. Northwestern Avenue, Philadelphia, PA
The scarecrows are back with this year’s theme of “the 1990s.” More than 30 scarecrows will be on display throughout the Arboretum beginning October 1 through Halloween. Vote for your favorite and your vote will determine the top prize winners.

Morey’s Piers Oktoberfest
Morey’s Pier, 3501 Boardwalk, Wildwood, NJ
Welcome autumn with a down the shore flair! For four weekends at the end of September through early October, enjoy German-themed food and beer at an outdoor biergarten at Jumbo’s Pub, plus live entertainment, family activities, and of course thrilling rides for the whole family!

Friday – Sunday, October 6th – 8th, 12pm-8pm
Harvest Weekend
Dilworth Park, 1 South 15th St, Philadelphia, PA
This fun 3-day experience embraces the autumn season for visitors of all ages – think hay bales, pumpkins and more! Live entertainment includes local bands and DJs, a professional pumpkin carving demonstration, apple cider making, circus performers and more! Food offerings include bratwurst, Bavarian pretzels and much more.

Upper Merion Fall Festival 
Heuser Park, 694 W. Beidler Rd.
Upper Merion Parks and Rec’s Community Fair and Fall Festival returns to Heuser Park with live music, a variety of food vendors, craft vendors, face painting, games, hayrides to a pumpkin patch, inflatables and much more! This event is kid-friendly, dog-friendly, and free to the public!

Join us for a community celebration that includes a parade, live music and entertainment, great food, flea market and craft fair and fun rides for the kids!

Main Line Oktoberfest
Good Samaritan Field, 212 West Lancaster Ave, Paoli PA
This family-friendly Oktoberfest features games, pumpkin decorating, face painting, and bounce-houses for the kids, plus live music, dancing, German food, and a great beer selection for kids-at-heart. Purchase tickets in advance for a discount! 

Saturday, October 7th, 11am-6pm
Amblerfest
Main St. Ambler PA
Celebrate the fall season all along Main Street! Ambler restaurants and businesses will have special offerings all day. Expect over 90 vendors and 10 food trucks lining Butler Avenue and plus kids rides, a beer garden, live music performances on 2 stages all day and more!

Hatfield’s Rocktoberfest

Come out to experience live music, pumpkin painting, inflatable obstacle course and plenty of crafts, vendors, kids activities and food trucks.

Ottertoberfest, Lehigh Valley Zoo
5150 Game Preserve Rd, Schnecksville, PA 
Featuring live and authentic German-style music courtesy and an assortment of specialty craft & gift vendors to browse as you make your way around the Zoo visiting the animals! Be sure to swing by our beer tent to enjoy Oktoberfest/Fall style beverages and gourmet food treats.

Fall for the Arts Festival
Chestnut Hill on Germantown Avenue, between Willow Grove and Rex Avenue, Philadelphia PA
Everyone is invited to enjoy a day of art, music, delicious food, and boutique shopping at The Chestnut Hill Fall for the Arts Festival. Germantown Avenue, between Willow Grove and Rex Avenue is transformed into an outdoor arts and crafts marketplace, featuring more than 150 talented artists, live music and fun activities for kids, too. 

Saturday, October 21st, 11am – 4pm 
Applefest at Fox Chase Farm 
Pennypack Environmental Center, 8600 Verree Rd, Philadelphia, PA
Hold up on those pumpkins – apples are still in season and you can come and celebrate all things apple at the Applefest at Fox Chase Farm. Enjoy a day of cider pressing, apple butter making, hayrides, seasonal games, pumpkin painting, music and more. Pumpkins, apples, apple butter and cider for sale!

Fall Arts & Crafts Festival
Linvilla Orchards, 137 West Knowlton Road Media PA
Bring the family and kick off the fall harvest season with the annual Arts & Craft Festival! See select local artists and crafts persons and live music performances. You will get a chance to shop for that unique find by browsing a variety of handmade wood crafts, jewelry, photography, candles and more!
