Bucks County Beach Days: Sandcastles in the Village
Peddler’s Village, 2400 Street Road, New Hope, PA 
Celebrate summer with eight larger-than-life sand sculptures and play-all-day sandboxes designed for family fun! The sculptures represent Bucks County’s rich history, landmarks, and scenery. Free and open to the public.

Sunday Fun Days 
Spruce Street Harbor Park, Delaware River Waterfront
Bring the fam and join us for free family crafts and activities with Pop-Up Play and guests every Sunday this summer from 2 pm to 4 pm at Spruce Street Harbor Park. There will be a new make-and-take activity each week.  Activities are first come, first serve and are available while supplies last. Check the schedule for updates.

The Big Bounce America
Philadelphia Navy Yard, Mustin Fairgrounds
Get ready to experience moon bounces bigger and better than you ever imagined! The Big Bounce America comes to the Philadelphia area on weekends starting August 18th through the first two weekends in September and has special times by age group so it’s easy to find what works for your family. Purchase tickets in advance for this one of a kind experience!

Ardmore Rock and Ride Festival 
Downtown Ardmore, PA
Now in its 3rd year, the Ardmore Rock N’ Ride is a community fundraising event that benefits Narberth Ambulance Emergency Services. This free, outdoor, family friendly event features an official USA Cycling bike race in the morning, a multi-stage concert featuring nationally renowned talent produced by Ardmore Music Hall, a youth bike race, and a family fun zone.

CommUnity Day 
Charles A Melton Arts & Ed Center, West Chester, PA 
Bring the family for the 12th annual CommUnity Day celebration in Downtown West Chester on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 11am-4pm. Food trucks, vendors, music bounce house and more! 

August 26th (rain date September 9th)
Nature’s Alchemy Festival 
The Schuylkill Center for Environmental Education
Bring the family to this free environmental arts event with workshops and demonstrations celebrating collaboration between artists, artists-to-be, and the natural world. Enjoy music and food while learning new and exciting collaborative artistic processes including cyanotype, light painting, and pigment and ink-making from six artists featured in “Nature’s Alchemy” the Summer 2023 Environmental Art exhibition. Attendance is free of charge; registration is required.

Pirate Day at Fort Mifflin
Fort Mifflin and Hog Island Roads Philadelphia, PA 
There’s pirates on Mud Island! Learn about the early history of the Fort, and why the British chose to build a fortification on Mud Island. Merriment and mischief, hands on activities, scavenger hunt, tours and weapons demonstrations PLUS will there be a pirate attack?!? Who will defend the Fort? Enjoy singing along with the Sea Dogs during their concert at 1 PM. Come as you are, or come as a pirate!

Berwyn Summer Fest

Send off the summer with the Berwyn Farmers Market in the morning, cars and coffee and then family fun and events to benefit the Berwyn Fire company.

Ludwig’s Corner Horse Show & Country Fair
Ludwig’s Corner, Glenmoore, PA
See amazing equestrian competition and stay for the country fair! Buy a wristband for all day fun and kids can enjoy the midway, inflatables, and of course, the horses. 

September 8th, 6:30 PM
Family Movie Night: Tredyffrin Township
Wilson Farm Park, Football Field
Join in for a fun filled night of a movie (Super Mario Bros.), snacks & entertainment! Bring a chair or blanket and enjoy the movie with family & friends! Will’s & Bill’s, Handel’s Ice Cream, Nothing Bundt Cakes, the Tredyffrin Township Foundation for Parks & Recreation & more will be providing beverages & treats for purchase.

September 9th -10th, 10am-4pm
Kennett Square Mushroom Festival
Union Street, Kennett Square, PA
This popular family-fun event takes place in the mushroom capital of the world!  Enjoy your favorites from the delicious famous breaded mushrooms, to savory mushroom soup, cooking demos, our new ‘Chopped’-themed cooking contest, vendors, music, kids rides, and more! Put some “Vroom in your Shrooms” with the Antique and Classic Car Show on Saturday only.

Haverford Township Music Festival
Eagle Road and East Darby Road, Havertown, PA
WXPN welcomes families to the 11th Annual Haverford Township Music Festival.
It will present a full day’s worth of entertainment, headlined by internationally renowned recording artists DANA FUCHS, THE SPLIT SQUAD and former NBC’s The Voice contestant DEVIX, on multiple stages near the intersection of Eagle & East Darby Roads There will be food vendors, beer and wine gardens, children’s activities and much more end-of-summer fun for the entire family.

September 9th – 10th, 10am-5pm
Doylestown Arts Festival
Main Street, Doylestown, PA
The Doylestown Arts Festival returns for its 31st anniversary and features a diverse selection of independent artists, live music on 5 stages, and live art. The festival will run from 10am-5pm Saturday through Sunday and is free to the public.
