How to Use Library Museum Passes
One of the best features of local libraries and library systems is the ability to borrow passes for museums and other popular attractions so you and your family can enjoy them at no charge.
How Does it work?
- Use your library card to “check out” the passes just as you would borrow a book.
- Availability and duration varies by library, but most have passes for up to 4 people and you can borrow them for 3 – 5 days on average.
- It’s a budget-friendly way to visit and experience the area’s top museums, gardens and cultural centers and it’s so easy to do.
We have collected the Library Museum Pass Program information from most of the local libraries near you so you can see what is available. Don’t forget that with your valid library card, you can check out passes from other libraries in the same network, too.
Availability and hours change frequently so check with each library before you go. Also, many places require advance reservations and a library pass does not guarantee admission if they are full.
