Local Fourth of July Festivities and Fireworks

Hometown parades, local fireworks and family barbecues! The Fourth of July weekend is almost here and if your celebrations include an evening watching fireworks light up the night sky, we have your guide to the best local fireworks displays and township celebrations. Ambler: Carnival and Fireworks 

Carnival is July 2nd – July 6th at Wissahickon High School and Fireworks on July 5th at dusk. (Fireworks rain date is July 6th)

Bala Cynwyd: Parade – begins at 9:00 am 

One of the Main Line’s oldest traditions, parade is on July 4th at 9:00 am

Camden Waterfront: Concerts and Fireworks

Freedom Festival at Wiggins Park: First concert starts at 5:00 pm, and shows continue until fireworks show at 9:30pm on July 3rd

Conshohocken: Fireworks 

One of the area’s top local fireworks displays on Wednesday, July 3rd at 9:30 pm (Rain date- none noted) 

Downingtown: Run/Walk, Kids Fun Run, Bike Decorating, Canoe/Kayak Race, Talent Show, Carnival and Fireworks

Good Neighbor Day run/walk starts at 8:00am, Canoe/kayak racing at 10am with Kids Fun Run at 10am followed by bike decorating at 10:30am.  The Carnival is from 12pm – 8:30pm and the Talent Show takes place from 4pm-8pm. The Fireworks start at 9pm- all at Kerr Park on July 4th 

East Goshen Township: Community Day and Fireworks

Family fun with moonbounce, live music, petting zoo, food trucks and fireworks at dusk. Saturday, June 29th at 5:00 pm (rain date June 30th

Glenside: Parade and Fireworks

Children’s program begins at 10:00am, Parade at 4:00 pm, fireworks at night on July 4th. 

Langhorne (Sesame Place): Fireworks

Celebrate the Fourth of July at Sesame Place with the “C is for Celebrate” fireworks display on July 4th, time TBD  

Lower Providence Township: Fireworks and DJ

DJ kicks off at 7pm at Eagleville Park with local fireworks at dusk on July 4th

Marple Township: Parade

The Parade will start at 10am at St. Albans Circle and end at the Broomall Fire House on Monday, July 4th 

Narberth: All Day Event, Parade and Fireworks 

Daytime events begin at 10am, evening events at 6:30pm and fireworks at 9pm. Bring a blanket and enjoy the evening on July 4th

North Wales: Parade and Picnic-

Parade begins at 11am at Main and Elm and finishes at Weingartner Park, decorate your bike, scooter or wagon and join in the parade!  Picnic to follow on July 4th

Norristown: Parade, Concerts/Festival, Fireworks

New parade time this year! Parade is from 1pm-3pm and will start at St. Francis Assisi Church, travel through the west end of town and end with a big party at Elmwood Park Zoo.  Concerts, food vendors and a beer garden starting at 3:00pm at Elmwood Park and fireworks begin at dusk on July 4th

Philadelphia: Concert, Fireworks 

The celebration of the Wawa Welcome America festival takes place June 19th through July 4th.. The concert and fireworks start at 7pm on July 4th. Fireworks will also be televised on NBC10.

Philadelphia (Citizens Bank Park): Phillies Games, Fireworks 

Head to the ball field to cheer on the Phillies and stay after for a fabulous fireworks display. Games are June 27th at 6:20 and June 28th at 6:20

Phoenixville: Fireworks

Music and food starting at 6pm and last until fireworks complete. Fireworks begin at approximately 9:15pm. Bring your lawn chairs and blankets for the fireworks display at Dayton Street Field on Friday, July 5th.

Pottstown: Parade, Festival, Fireworks- 

The GoFourth celebration starts with a parade at 11:15 am, then the Streetfest with kids’ activities and live music from 1-5 and fireworks at dusk on July 4th

Southampton: Parade, Fair, Fireworks

Celebrate with a morning parade at 9:30 am, Country Fair, concert and fireworks on July 4th

Tredyffrin Township: Music and Fireworks 

Bring chairs and enjoy live music and food trucks starting at 7 pm, local fireworks begin at dusk at Wilson Farm Park on July 4th

Upper Merion Township, Carnival, Concert and Fireworks 

Carnival 3:00 – 10:00 pm, plus a beer garden and food trucks, concert at 5 pm and fireworks at dusk on July 4th.

Whitemarsh Township, Parade

Begins at 10am at Crescent and Germantown Pike and ends in Miles Park. After the parade has ended, stay for a community picnic!
