Fantastic Farms to Experience Fall Fun

Autumn means a trip to a nearby farm for memorable fall fun! Many nearby farms offer exciting fall activities throughout the season, perfect for families and friends. You can enjoy picking pumpkins, navigating through corn mazes, and taking scenic hayrides under the autumn sky or the harvest moon. Many of these farms also offer delicious seasonal treats like apple cider donuts, caramel apples and homemade ice cream, adding to the festive experience. It’s a great way to celebrate fall and enjoy the harvest season outdoors. 

Check out our family favorites in PA and NJ  – be sure to check with each location before heading out for any changes in hours and activities due to weather. 

AGA Farms

1333 Elephant Rd, Perkasie, PA 18944

AGA Farms has been providing fun family experiences since 1980 and fall fun begins in late September. Find all of your pumpkins, plus hay rides, two corn mazes, locally-made decorations, and more pumpkin varieties than almost anywhere else. 

 

Charlann Farms 

586 Stony Hill Road, Yardley, PA. 19067

Fall Festival weekends are September 21st – October 27th with activities geared towards younger kids and timed tickets to ensure a less-crowded experience. Attractions include hayrides to the pumpkin patch, corn maze, bouncy animals, obstacle course, pumpkin bowling, straw maze and other games. Each ticketed child will receive a sugar pumpkin to decorate at the pumpkin painting table. 

 

Cherry Crest Adventure Farm

Fall season admissions include over 60 Farm Fun activities, including the Amazing Maize Maze, the Farm Tour Wagon Ride, Pedal Carts, a petting zoo, the giant slinger, the Hay Chute Slide and Strawbale Racer, the Barnyard Jump, and so much more!

 

Country Barn Market

Harvest Days happen every weekend from September through October. Hop aboard a charming wagon for a delightful journey to our sprawling 10-acre pumpkin patch. Challenge yourself in the corn maze, check out flashlight maze and campfire nights and don’t miss the farm market.

 

Glen Run Valley View Farm

280 Lenover Rd, Atglen, PA 19310

The main Pumpkin season is mid-September through November.  Glen Run Valley Farm grows over 50 varieties of sizes and colors of pumpkins, squash and gourds.  Pick your own pumpkins in the field, or choose from those already picked. Complete your fall decor with mums, straw bales, corn stalks, colored corn and sunflowers. Kids of all ages will enjoy playing Pumpkin Putt-Putt, Skee Pumpkin, Jack Slide, Ring-a-Pumpkin and more –  all games are free. 

 

Hellerick’s Family Farm 

5500 N. Easton Road, Doylestown, PA 18902

Fall Festival activities include a wagon ride, 5-acre corn maze, farm animals, 3 slides, farm obstacle course, tractor tire playground and 40+ activities for children and adults of all ages, Plus thousands of pumpkins, squash and gourds and fall decorations. Fresh baked goods and cider available on select weekends in September and all weekends in October.

 

Highland Orchards Farm and Market

1000 Marshallton-Thorndale Road, West Chester, PA 19380

Highland Orchards Farm and Market located in West Chester, is a great place to make fall memories with your family. Pick your own pumpkins, navigate the corn maze, take a hayride, try the apple cannons and more! Don’t forget to sample the apple cider doughnuts, voted “Best Of Philly!”

Grim’s Orchard & Family Farms

9875 Schantz Rd Breinigsville, PA 18031

Join in the fun at this family owned farm in Lehigh Valley on fall weekends through Sunday, November 3rd for their Corn Maze & Fall Festival from 10am- 7pm. Navigate your way through groomed paths cut into an 8 acre field of 6’ to 8’ tall irrigated corn maze. Pick your own pumpkins and apples, and enjoy delicious fall treats and perfect fall photo ops! 

 

Kohler Farms 

1262 Limekiln Pike, Horsham Township, PA 

Hayrides begin on weekends from October 5th to October 27th and last 20 minutes. Ride to the fields where kids can run through the hay and corn mazes, the obstacle course, play at the corn table and take some great fall pictures. You also have the option to pick-your-own pumpkin for an additional fee, visit the farm market, farm animals and enjoy some ice cream! Note: the hayride and corn maze are NOT haunted.   

 

Linvilla Orchards

137 West Knowlton Road, Media, PA

Linvilla Orchards’ Pumpkinland features daytime ticketed activities including harvest hayrides, corn and hay bale mazes, apple blaster target shooting, pick-your-own crops, and pony and train rides. After dark, you can enjoy moonlight hayrides or visit the nearby Witch’s House, ending with a campfire with apple cider and marshmallows.

MerryMead Farm

2222 S Valley Forge Rd, Lansdale, PA 19446

Join in the fun with Harvest Days through October, starting with the Great Pumpkin lighting on September 28th! Weekend afternoons consist of tractor hayrides, a 900-foot cornstalk tunnel, a pumpkin jump pad, a corn bin, kids’ trains and a five-acre butterfly corn maze (with admission), plus add-ons like gem mining, apple blasters and slingers and paintball. Thursday to Saturday evenings showcase a moonlight maze and after-dark hayrides – don’t miss the animal farm and delicious treats including homemade ice cream! 

Northern Star Farm 

112 East Third Avenue, Trappe, PA 

Northern Star Farm is a fully preserved family farm established in 1927 in Trappe, PA . Visit every Saturday and Sunday late September and through October 10am-5pm for Pumpkin Picking, Hay Rides, a Corn Maze, Pony Rides, Giant Apple Sling Shot, Little Farmer Playbarn, Farm Animals, and more! Plus don’t miss the apple cider, apple cider donuts, fresh baked pies and more. On Friday nights they even have a flashlight corn maze for the more adventurous!

Visit October 5th – 27th for Fall Festival Weekends and make memories with the entire family. The pumpkin field is open for Pick-Your-Own pumpkins, weather permitting. Tractor Hayrides are just $3.50 per person (under 2 years – no charge) No admission fee and free parking.

 

Shady Brook Farm

FallFest at Shady Brook Farm runs starting September 13th on weekends then mid week and weekends through October. Navigate a 4-acre corn maze, hand-pick your perfect pumpkin, jump on the giant pumpkin pillow, enjoy whimsical wagon rides and so much more as part of the ultimate fall celebration. 

 

Snipes Farm, Nursery, and Golf

The Fall Festival at Snipes Farm begins Sept 28 & 29 and continues every Sat (9-6) and Sun (10-5) in October. Enjoy an authentic farm experience. Hay rides run all day, horse and wagon rides until 3 and food trucks until 4 or 5pm.

 

Tabora Farm and Orchard

Every weekend in October is the Tabora Farm Festival. Join in games, wagon rides, corn maze, hay bale climb, animal viewing, and more! Check out Zombie paintball, panning for gold, apple picking, and pumpkin picking which are priced separately. Lunch, dinner, and snacks available for purchase.

Their “Park & Pick” option allows you to visit every stop along our farm drive at your own pace: explore the apple picking stop, pumpkin picking area, sunflower fields, and corn maze.
